The head of Gazprom, Alexey Miller, announced the company's plans to increase gas supplies to Kyrgyzstan by 20 percent by 2025. This statement was made at a meeting dedicated to the preliminary results of the company's operations.

Miller noted that this year there has been a 20 percent increase in gas supplies from Russia to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. In particular, with Kazakhstan, Gazprom is exploring opportunities for deepening cooperation.

“We continue to develop our interaction with Central Asia... Gas supplies to these three countries have increased by 20 percent, which is a significant achievement. Gazprom aims to further increase gas exports to this region,” he added.

Earlier, the economic forecasting center of Gazprombank reported that over the next five years, Gazprom's exports to Central Asia could more than double. The company is actively seeking new directions to redirect volumes that were previously aimed at European markets.
