The minister noted that Kyrgyzstan's economy has shown impressive results over the past four years: the average annual GDP growth rate over three years was 9.8 percent. In 2025, economic activity remained at a high level, and over 11 months, the real GDP growth was 10.2 percent, setting a record.
In 2024, Kyrgyzstan ranked among the top three countries in the world for real GDP growth rates, and in 2025, the country's sovereign credit rating was upgraded to "B+".
“All these achievements indicate that the country's economy is on the path of sustainable and quality growth. We have a reliable financial base, stable development dynamics, and confidence in the future,” he emphasized.
According to the minister, in 2026, the main focus will be on the following areas:
- creating and maintaining favorable conditions for the industrial sector;
- forming a positive internal environment for investors and entrepreneurs;
- promoting multipolarity in foreign economic activity;
- implementing fiscal reform;
- strengthening environmental sustainability and adapting to climate change.
