In Kyrgyzstan, investors are planned to be issued visas for up to 30 years

This initiative is aimed at attracting foreign investments

In the Kyrgyz Republic, the authorities are considering the possibility of introducing long-term visas for foreign investors, valid for up to 30 years. This became known from the Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zhalyn Zheenaliev.

As Zheenaliev explained, such visas will be available to those investors who invest between 300,000 to 400,000 US dollars in the country's economy. This measure is intended to enhance the investment attractiveness of Kyrgyzstan and strengthen its position on the international stage in the competition for foreign direct investments.

Zheenaliev also noted that in the context of the total volume of foreign direct investments, which amounts to approximately 1.2 trillion dollars, Kyrgyzstan plans to offer investors more favorable and stable conditions for long-term activities.

In addition to visa advantages, the government intends to provide investors with a wide range of benefits. In particular, this includes the allocation of land plots, exemption from customs duties on the import of raw materials and equipment, as well as tax holidays for three types of taxes for up to five years. For large, national, and strategic projects, further extension of tax benefits for an additional five years is possible.

At the moment, these initiatives are in the development stage and require further regulatory formalization.
