Foreign workers are invited for a limited period.
The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of Kyrgyzstan has clarified the reasons for attracting foreign specialists to the country.
According to the ministry, foreign specialists are hired exclusively within the framework of the law and only in cases where it is necessary for the country's economy. Typically, such work is temporary — for large projects, such as construction and investments, where specific skills and experience are required.
The ministry also emphasized that foreign workers should not occupy jobs that belong to citizens of Kyrgyzstan, which is one of the fundamental principles. All aspects, from quotas and permits to living conditions, are carefully monitored by government agencies. In case of violations of labor or migration norms, appropriate measures are taken.
The attraction of foreign labor is carried out in cooperation with other government bodies. Transparency of all processes and adherence to the rights of workers, as well as increasing the number of local specialists, are given significant importance.
The ministry stressed that open communication with the public about labor migration and maintaining social stability remain priority tasks for the state.
