Raid on exchange offices took place in Osh and the region. How many were closed?

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan took action against currency exchange offices that did not comply with legislative norms. This was reported by the regulator's press service.

As a result of inspections conducted on February 3 and 4, licenses were revoked from the following exchange points:

LLC "Forex Gold" - Kara-Suu District, village of Jany-Turmus (Checkpoint "Dostuk - Road");
LLC "Aziza LTD" - city of Osh, Alymbek Datka St., 940/1;
LLC "Osman" - city of Osh, Alymbek Datka St., 940a;
LLC "Oisha Finance" - city of Osh, Kurmanjan Datka St., 643;
LLC "Ali Umar" - city of Osh, Alymbek Datka St., 940/1;
LLC "M Yusuf" - Kara-Suu District, village of Andizhan, Kurmanjan Datka St. (Osh bus station);
LLC "Amanat Bereke" - Kara-Suu District, village of Jany-Turmus (Checkpoint "Dostuk - Road").

Previously, the financial regulator had already revoked licenses from some exchange points in Osh and Bishkek for similar violations.

In October 2025, the GKNB recorded 116 exchange points at the "Dostuk" checkpoint, of which 84 were operating without the necessary licenses.
