The system promises to increase budget revenues by more than 500 million soms.

Starting from January 2026, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan officially launched the electronic platform e-Permit, designed to simplify international freight transportation, primarily with China. As part of this initiative, Kyrgyz carriers will also begin using electronic permits to operate with countries such as Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey, as reported by the ministry's press service.

Simplifying the process of exchanging permit documents has become one of the key features of the e-Permit implementation. Now, carriers have the opportunity to obtain and submit the necessary forms online, eliminating the need for personal visits and waiting in lines, which significantly reduces service delivery time.

Previously, the process of exchanging permits was carried out in paper format. In 2025, about 130,000 forms were registered with China, which required significant budget expenditures for preparation and delivery.

As stated in the press service's message, "the e-Permit system is aimed at improving the transparency of processes, reducing corruption risks, and facilitating the development of international road transport. This project also helps to reduce government spending and strengthen Kyrgyzstan's position as a logistics hub in Central Asia."

According to forecasts, by 2026, it is expected that thanks to the new electronic system, more than 500 million soms will flow into the state budget.
