
During the meeting organized by the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan, issues related to the expansion of trade, economic, and investment ties between the two countries were discussed. The agency's press service reported that the discussion involved Ravshanbek Sabirov, the head of the agency, the deputy Italian ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, as well as a delegate from the Agency for the Promotion of Italian Companies Abroad.
During the negotiations, information was presented about the reforms being implemented in the field of institutional governance and regulation aimed at improving the investment climate. Mechanisms of state support for investors were also discussed, with a focus on key projects in the fields of energy, industry, agriculture, and infrastructure.
Kyrgyzstan emphasizes the importance of developing ties with Italy and welcomes the influx of foreign investments. Ravshanbek Sabirov noted that the state ensures the protection of investors' rights and guarantees in accordance with international standards and legislation. Kyrgyzstan is open to long-term partners and strives to create conditions conducive to doing business.
It is important to note that Kyrgyzstan's inclusion in the list of 15 priority countries for Italy indicates a high level of trust and an intention to develop bilateral cooperation.
As a result of the discussion, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen the partnership and implement joint projects.
