As reported by the organization's press service, delegations from participating countries gathered at the ministerial level to discuss the development of economic cooperation, deepening trade ties, and promoting sustainable and inclusive growth in the Turkic world.
“The Secretary General of the OTS, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, noted in his speech that the region is demonstrating stable rates of economic growth. He pointed out that an average growth rate of 6.86 percent is expected by 2025, which is more than double the global average. At the same time, the Secretary General called for intensified efforts to increase mutual trade among the participating countries,” the statement said.
During the meeting, delegates discussed current economic trends at both regional and global levels. Practical steps were also considered to strengthen mutual trade within the OTS, improve the business and investment climate, and develop transport and logistics infrastructure. Participants emphasized the need for coordinated actions to reduce trade barriers, support small and medium-sized enterprises, and simplify cross-border trade.

The delegations confirmed their commitment to deepening economic integration within the OTS and agreed on further cooperation through relevant mechanisms to implement common priorities.
As a result of the meeting, a communiqué from the 14th session was signed, a memorandum of understanding in the field of trade was established, and key strategic documents were approved, including a comprehensive roadmap for cooperation in the areas of economy, trade, investment, and finance, as well as the concept of the OTS Trade Nexus forum.
