The Chuy region continues to be a key driver of Kyrgyzstan's economy, as the volume of industrial production has reached a significant mark of 355.8 billion soms. This information was announced during a meeting between the presidential envoy in the region, Azamat Osmonov, and the chairman of the board of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, Artem Novikov, where the main achievements and future prospects for the development of the region were discussed.

Azamat Osmonov reported that the gross regional product of the Chuy region amounted to 205 billion soms, which ensures a 12% growth by the end of 2025. Currently, the region is demonstrating active industrial development, with an emphasis on the food industry. The construction materials production sector is also showing significant growth, increasing by almost 1.5 times. Particularly noticeable progress has been observed in the Issyk-Ata district thanks to financing from the RKDF.

Artem Novikov, in turn, emphasized the importance of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund as one of the main partners of the government in implementing the country's economic program.

“The Fund actively supports the Chuy region in implementing large projects. During its operation, the RKDF has financed 727 projects totaling 335 million US dollars. The main focus is on agro-industrial processing, which accounts for 51% of the total financing, as well as industry and the production of construction materials, fully meeting the needs of the republic through local production. More than half of all financed projects have been implemented over the past five years,” noted Novikov.
