Elimination of Double Taxation. Kyrgyzstan and Hong Kong Sign Agreement
The main goal of this agreement is to eliminate double taxation for economic entities of both countries, which will create more favorable conditions for economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Hong Kong.
As emphasized by the ministry, agreements to prevent double taxation are an important tool for attracting foreign direct investment into the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, the document is also aimed at protecting residents of one country from discriminatory taxation in the territory of the other, preventing tax evasion and abuse of the provisions of the agreement, as well as developing information exchange between the competent authorities of both countries.
