The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) together with the company "Metal Torg Service" signed an agreement for financing in the amount of 10 million US dollars. As explained by the representatives of the fund, these funds will be used to replenish working capital, which will ensure stable supplies of rolled metal for the construction sector of Kyrgyzstan.
Over the course of ten years of cooperation, the RKDF has contributed to the transformation of the company from a simple trader to a powerful manufacturer in the industry. Today, "Metal Torg Service" represents a high-tech production center covering an area of 28 thousand square meters.
Currently, more than 700 people work at the production facilities of "Metal Torg Service," and the company's near-term plans include increasing the number of employees to 1,000. Every year, it contributes over 2 billion soms in tax payments to the state budget, and its production capabilities significantly meet the needs of Kyrgyzstan through domestic production. The country has ceased to depend on imports, starting to produce its own products.
“Cooperation with such enterprises has a clear strategic goal: the company already replaces up to 50% of imported goods in the construction market and provides metal for large-scale state construction projects, primarily for the facilities of the State Mortgage Company (GIK), which is engaged in the construction of affordable housing using local materials,” noted Artem Novikov, Chairman of the Board of the RKDF.He added that special attention in the development of the company is paid to the implementation of advanced technologies. Unlike many enterprises in the region that use outdated methods, "Metal Torg Service" has implemented modern automated lines with the help of the fund. This allows for the production of unique products for the market, such as galvanized wire with a quality coating that ensures a long service life.
The RKDF continues to invest in projects that promote industrial growth in the country. The fund supports initiatives aimed at achieving the goals outlined by President Sadyr Japarov regarding increasing the volumes of import substitution, developing domestic production, and enhancing the industrial potential of the economy.
“The production capacity of our second plant in Shopokov exceeds 7 thousand tons of galvanized wire and 3,600 tons of H-beams. Thanks to the support of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, we have managed to expand production in Bishkek and Shopokov,” said Adyl Toktonaliev, CFO of "Metal Torg Service."
“The RKDF invests not only in technologies and materials but also in projects that strengthen the economy of Kyrgyzstan,” emphasized Artem Novikov.
It should be noted that in December 2025, President Sadyr Japarov opened a new production complex of "Metal Torg Service."
