“If producers hide their volumes, they will be forced to fully disclose them, which will lead to fair competition,” he noted.
Akmatov also added that similar conditions will be established for importers as for local producers.
“All cement supplies to Kyrgyzstan must be made in marked form. We do not plan to impose restrictions on imports. Importers will be given the opportunity to mark their products on par with domestic producers. The main supplies of cement to the country come from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan,” he specified.
According to the draft resolution, starting from June 1, 2026, all products in the cement industry, both produced and imported into the country, will be subject to mandatory marking. And from December 1, a ban on the circulation of unmarked cement is planned.
A molecular marker will be added to the cement, which will allow its origin to be identified using specialized devices. At the same time, the quality of the product will remain unchanged.
