The tire recycling plant located in Tokmok and a branch of the closed joint-stock company "Kumtor Gold Company" has successfully obtained a license for the disposal and recycling of automotive tires.

According to information from the company, the license was issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, allowing the enterprise to provide paid services for the disposal of tire waste.

The services of this plant may prove useful for sectors such as mining, transportation companies, and other industrial enterprises. Cooperation with this recycling plant will enable tire importers to significantly reduce costs associated with disposal fees.

Reference information: the annual capacity of the plant reaches 10,000 tons of recycled tires. The plant accepts tires of all sizes, including oversized ones, from agricultural, construction, and quarry machinery.

There are two main workshops at the facility:

— automotive tire disposal workshop;

— tire restoration workshop.

From old tires that cannot be restored, the enterprise produces rubber crumb, which serves as secondary raw material for the production of tiles, carpets, and safety surfaces for children's and sports playgrounds.

Restored large tires are already installed on Caterpillar 789C dump trucks and are undergoing testing at the Kumtor mine.
