On March 29, the inaugural flight on the new route Guangzhou - Bishkek - Guangzhou was carried out by China Southern Airlines.
This route has been opened for the first time thanks to the joint efforts of OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" and partners from China.
Regular flights will be conducted twice a week — on Wednesdays and Sundays.
On the first flight, 134 passengers landed at Manas International Airport, while 104 people departed on the return flight to Guangzhou.
The launch of this flight will open new opportunities for passenger and cargo transportation, as well as help strengthen transport, economic, and cultural ties between Kyrgyzstan and China.
Aman Mamaev, the commercial director of OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan," emphasized that this flight is a significant step towards expanding the route network and enhancing the country's international connectivity. He also noted the high potential of the route for both passenger and cargo transport.
In addition, company representatives reminded that China Southern Airlines operates flights from Bishkek to Beijing six times a week.
OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" will continue its work to expand the geography of flights, attract new airlines, and improve conditions for passengers and partners.
