The Kyrgyz Republic expressed regret over its legal entities being subjected to sanctions by the European Union.
The European Union, in turn, has repeatedly expressed its intention to develop a strategic partnership with Central Asia and support the socio-economic development of Kyrgyzstan. In this context, the Kyrgyz side is open to equal, respectful, and trusting cooperation with the EU and its members, which will allow for mutually beneficial results, unlike the unilateral pressure from sanctions.
The Kyrgyz Republic proposes that the European Union initiate an independent, internationally recognized audit to verify the actual circumstances and confirm that any proposed restrictive measures are based on reliable data.
Furthermore, the Kyrgyz side suggests creating a specialized joint technical working group Kyrgyzstan – European Union, which will engage in regular data exchange, transaction monitoring, and joint risk assessment.
