

From October 20 to 21, an international seminar for parliamentary research services took place in the capital of South Korea, Seoul, with representatives from the Office of the Jogorku Kenesh and the Parliamentary Development Research Center participating.
Delegates from more than 18 countries attended the seminar, including heads of research departments from various parliaments.
Kyrgyzstan was represented by Ruslanbek Saky uulu, Deputy Head of the Expertise Department of the Jogorku Kenesh, and Aizhan Jakshylykova, Director of the Parliamentary Development and Democracy Research Center under the Jogorku Kenesh.
Aizhan Jakshylykova presented a report on "Kyrgyzstan's Climate Policy: Legislative Initiatives and Political Challenges."
The participation of the Kyrgyz delegation in this international forum provided an opportunity to discuss the development of parliamentary research in light of global challenges.
During the seminar, a meeting was also held with representatives of the Future Research Institute and the Parliamentary Library of Korea, where directions for bilateral cooperation, opportunities for joint research, experience exchange, and the organization of training programs for research service staff were discussed. ```
