- The elections have taken place, but this is just the beginning of the journey, - comments the results of the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, Director of the Center for Euro-Asian Studies Andrey Rusakov. – Many political analysts expected that with such a passing threshold, only three or four parties would make it to parliament; however, six have succeeded. Moreover, "Butun Kyrgyzstan Emgek" nearly became the seventh participant in this process, which is somewhat surprising, as both Askar Salymbekov and Adakhan Madumarov are quite prominent figures in the political arena, supported by their electorate. It seems that their opinions and views on the socio-economic development of the republic will be in demand and taken into account by the new composition of parliament. This parliament will operate under different geopolitical and external conditions, and it will bear the responsibility for a successful socio-economic policy. Ensuring economic growth is impossible without forming, including internal demand, which means increasing the population's income. Joining the Eurasian Economic Union will provide external demand. However, this will only happen when investments and the trust of all partners become the foundation of relationships, and Kyrgyzstan itself demonstrates that the political institutions of the country prioritize the future of the republic. The status of a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh must meet the demands of the times – to be a politician shaping the agenda, not a bureaucrat.
