The Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kazan, Erik Beishembiev, participated in an extended meeting held in the government of the Republic of Tatarstan under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Vasily Shaikhraziev.
The main topic of the meeting was the issues related to the organization of early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, scheduled for November 30 of this year.
Representatives of state and public structures, as well as municipalities where citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic reside, were present at the meeting.
During his speech, the consul general informed the participants about the latest changes in the electoral system of Kyrgyzstan and announced the opening of two polling stations in Tatarstan.
In response to the information presented by the heads of relevant departments regarding the number of Kyrgyz citizens living and working in the region, instructions were given to the appropriate structures to provide necessary support in organizing the electoral process.
