Talantbek Tolobekov has become the new director of the Cinematography Department under the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic. This appointment was made in accordance with Article 18 of the constitutional law "On the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic" at the initiative of Minister Mirbek Mambetaliev and signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev.
Talantbek was introduced to the team by Minister Mirbek Mambetaliev along with his deputy Marat Tagaev.
The position was previously held by Ulan Adamaliev, who left at his own request.
The Cinematography Department is responsible for implementing state policy aimed at developing national cinema, as well as supporting and enhancing the competitiveness of Kyrgyz cinema on the international stage.

– Born on May 4, 1983, in Bishkek.
Education:
* Kyrgyz National University of Culture and Arts named after B. Beishenaliev — qualification in social and cultural management, educator;
* Ch. Bazarbaev Choreographic School — ballet artist, choreographer.
Work Experience:
– Actively working in the field of culture and cinema since 2002.
– Since 2013, he has been the founder and coordinator of the National Film Award "Ak Ilbirs".
– As a producer, he participated in the creation of films such as "Үй сатылат" ("The House is for Sale"), "Көл" ("Lake"), "Мунабия", "Атанын керээзи" ("Father's Testament"), and others.
– Coordinated the nomination of Kyrgyz films for the "Oscar", "Golden Globe", "Nika".
– Initiator of the investment program "Shoot in Kyrgyzstan" and the establishment of the National Film Commission.
– During the COVID-19 pandemic, he organized support for film veterans and citizens in difficult situations.
