The newly constructed residential complex is located on the territory of the "Karamyk" border post, situated in a high-altitude area, which makes it particularly valuable for military personnel. The new building includes 18 one-bedroom and 2 two-bedroom apartments, ensuring comfortable living for border guards and their families.
The keys to the new apartments were handed over to the new residents by Colonel General Kamchybek Tashiev, who emphasized the importance of the state's support for the needs of border guards. He noted: "The Border Service plays a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of our country, especially in such remote high-altitude regions. The state must provide decent conditions for those who protect our borders. We will continue to pay attention to the social support of military personnel, as their confidence and well-being directly influence the reliability of border protection."
The complex is also equipped with children's playgrounds and sports areas, a boiler house with a coal storage, and a transformer substation for safe living. It includes water storage tanks, including a fire reserve, as well as a sewage system.
The territory of the complex is well-maintained and landscaped, with convenient internal roads and parking areas. As part of cooperation with law enforcement agencies, one of the apartments was transferred to an employee of the internal affairs department of the village of Karamyk, which helps strengthen cooperation on border security and law enforcement issues in the region.
The project aims to improve the living conditions of border guards and strengthen infrastructure in hard-to-reach high-altitude areas. The construction was funded from the republican budget and was completed on time — in one and a half years.
