A reception was held in the Republic of Turkey organized by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic for diplomats from Latin America. Representatives from over 15 embassies of countries in this region gathered at the event to discuss important issues of cooperation.
The purpose of this reception was to promote Kyrgyzstan's initiatives on the international stage, including multilateral platforms such as the United Nations, as well as to develop cooperation with international partners.
The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey, Ruslan Kazakbaev, delivered a speech in which he highlighted the key directions of the country's foreign policy. He emphasized Kyrgyzstan's commitment to the principles of the UN Charter and its active role in issues of sustainable development, international peace and security, as well as the importance of preventive diplomacy and mediation. Additionally, participants were provided with information about current economic, social, and political reforms in the country being carried out under the leadership of President S. Japarov.
Kazakbaev focused on the stable economic growth of Kyrgyzstan, the development of the industrial and construction sectors, as well as the improvement of the investment climate and strengthening of the financial system. The Kyrgyz side expressed its readiness to deepen political dialogue and expand practical cooperation with Latin American countries in areas such as economy, trade, and investment.
The reception served as an important platform for exchanging views and developing joint approaches to the development of bilateral and multilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Latin America, as well as working within international organizations.
