President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov attended a ceremony today dedicated to the launch of the first issuance of the USDKG stablecoin. This digital token, backed by physical gold, will be pegged to the US dollar, as reported by the president's press service.

Among the participants of the event were Finance Minister Almaz Baketaev and Biibolot Mamytov, Chairman of the Board of the Open Joint Stock Company "Issuer of Virtual Assets."

During the ceremony, the participants pressed a button to start the issuance, officially commencing the release and distribution of 50 million USDKG tokens on the Tron network. Each token will be equivalent to one US dollar and backed by physical gold.

USDKG is a stablecoin fully backed by gold and supported by the Kyrgyz Republic. It was developed as a safe, stable, and transparent digital currency that combines the reliability of gold with the advantages of blockchain technologies.

This launch opens new prospects for enhancing Kyrgyzstan's position in the global financial system and creates a foundation for the development of a Web3 ecosystem of decentralized services that facilitate interaction between the state and the private sector through blockchain.

Moreover, USDKG contributes to increasing the country's investment attractiveness, creating conditions for capital inflow and partnerships in the technology sector.

The implementation of a stablecoin backed by real assets fosters trust in financial innovations and proves that digital tools can be backed by tangible assets, contributing to economic development.

The issuance of USDKG is carried out by the Open Joint Stock Company "Issuer of Virtual Assets," a company with 100% state participation, which ensures a high level of trust and reliability of institutional structures.
