Tynchtyk Shainazarov, the head of the Central Election Commission, informed journalists that in accordance with the legislation, the date for new elections in electoral district No. 13 will be determined within a month, and the elections themselves must take place within two months.
The CEC previously clarified that according to constitutional law, it is not permitted to re-nominate candidates who have already participated in the early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic in this district.
Thus, repeat elections will be held in the district with new candidates.
