In the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, a meeting took place between Deputy Chairman Edil Baysalov and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine Valeriy Zhovtenko, the government press service reports.
A wide range of issues related to international politics and bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine was on the agenda. There was also an exchange of views on topics of mutual interest.
The Kyrgyz side emphasized the need for an immediate cessation of violence in Ukraine, supporting international efforts for a diplomatic resolution, with an emphasis on humanitarian aspects.
Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness for regular interaction and constructive discussion of the issues raised.
