According to the signed document, a tax regime is being established between Kyrgyzstan and Japan for certain types of income, which will help avoid double taxation and tax evasion. This agreement aims to improve tax relations between the countries and create favorable conditions for increasing mutual trade volumes and attracting foreign investments into the economy of Kyrgyzstan.
At the business forum "Central Asia + Japan," a plan of action was exchanged between Bakyt Sydykov and the General Director of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Ishiguro Norihiko. This plan is aimed at developing the "Kyrgyz Export" Center for promoting and developing exports, which collaborates with JETRO. The signing of this document was a logical continuation of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed on August 10, 2024, in Astana.
During the visit, an agreement was also reached to establish an intergovernmental commission between Kyrgyzstan and Japan, which will address issues of trade, economy, culture, and human resource exchange.
