In 2025, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic reported a significant increase in the volume of printed educational and methodological complexes, which reached record levels.
For the printing of textbooks this year, 856,548,703 soms were allocated from the state budget. According to the data from the last eight years, a total of 3,742,461 textbooks were published, while in 2025, 4,085,450 educational and methodological complexes were printed, which is 9.1% higher than the previous figures for the same period.
The publication of textbooks is carried out according to a clear phased plan developed for updating textbooks in all subjects as part of the Concept for Transition to 12-Year School Education, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the KR on October 30, 2024, No. 654.
