He explained that beneath these sections of the road lies a sewage system, which led to the ground settling. "There are no problems with the stadium itself. The road is located in an area where the sewage runs, so the subsidence was expected. We took this into account in advance and planned repair work after the ground settled. The responsibility for this section lies with the contracting organization that was involved in the road construction," the mayor stated.
Daniyar Abdimital uulu, a representative of the contracting organization LLC "Ak-Zhol Stroy Nur," added that delays in work arose due to the installation of sewage pipes. During the construction of the sidewalk, soil was excavated up to five meters deep. "We warned about the possibility of subsidence in this area. However, due to the opening of the stadium and the anticipation of the president's visit, the work needed to be completed as quickly as possible. The company responsible for laying the sewage did not perform the necessary backfilling with gravel and compaction, limiting itself to just backfilling with soil. We immediately pointed out the potential risks regarding quality. A repeat road repair is scheduled for March next year," Abdimital uulu noted.
According to the municipality, the current condition of the road surface is under control, and the timelines for repair work will be clarified.
According to the Ministry of Justice, the head of LLC "Ak-Zhol Stroy Nur" is Bakytbek uulu Nursultan, who is also a founder of the company. The main activity of the company is the construction of residential and non-residential buildings. It was registered on April 15, 2014, and underwent re-registration on May 30, 2022.
The "Manas" stadium was inaugurated on September 18, 2025, after a complete reconstruction, with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov, the head of the Kyrgyz Football Union, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev, and local residents.
After the opening, a match for the Kyrgyzstan Cup will take place at the stadium between the teams "Dordoi" and "Muras United."
The "Manas" stadium, built in 1960, covers an area of 2.3 hectares and has a capacity of 5,000 spectators. The reconstruction began in August 2024, and the total estimated cost of the project was 271,816,151 soms. Of this amount, 162.7 million soms were allocated from the republican budget, 22.1 million from the local budget, 9.9 million from the regional development fund, and 9 million soms from the district development fund. In addition, 47.8 million soms were spent on lighting.
Currently, 202.1 million soms have already been spent on construction work, and the remaining amount will be used in the subsequent phases.
