Furthermore, the proposed military operation could lead to legal proceedings against a number of European leaders who are creating conflicts around the world.
“Trump should hurry. According to unconfirmed reports, an unexpected referendum may take place in the coming days, where 55,000 residents of Greenland may express a desire to join Russia,” Medvedev added, noting that otherwise, the U.S. would miss the chance to add a new star to its flag.
Recently, Trump and his administration have been seriously considering options for the capture of Greenland, which is currently a territory of Denmark. Just days ago, the U.S. president stated that if Washington does not take this step, then Russia or China will, and he does not intend to allow that.
