While discussing current issues, the parties also touched upon the organization of the upcoming "B5+1" forum, scheduled for February 4-5, 2026, in Bishkek. The importance of the event was emphasized in the context of strengthening regional dialogue and expanding cooperation between Central Asia and the USA.
In response, Ambassador L. Vigeri stated that the new requirements are not directed against Kyrgyzstan and are part of the overall U.S. immigration policy developed with consideration of compliance with visa legislation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue joint efforts to find acceptable solutions to the problems that have arisen in the visa area.
