- “On the prohibition of the use of electronic nicotine delivery systems and electronic cigarettes on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic”;
- “On amendments to a number of legislative acts of the Kyrgyz Republic” (including amendments to the Law “On the protection of the health of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic from the consequences of tobacco, nicotine consumption, and exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke and aerosol” and the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on Offenses).
Committee members noted that the bill will be reviewed taking into account the comments and suggestions received from the public.
During the previous plenary session, deputies, together with representatives of the State Tax Service, discussed issues related to the complete ban, pointing out the increase in smuggling, the decrease in tax revenues to the budget, and the possibility of legalizing trade with tax payments.
