Kyrgyzstan has been included among the countries whose citizens will have their U.S. immigration visa issuance suspended. This was reported by Fox News, citing data from the State Department.

According to the channel's information, the relevant document has already been signed, and the new rule will come into effect on January 21. The duration of the restrictions has not yet been specified, as the State Department intends to "reevaluate the visa issuance process."

This measure is part of tightening immigration policy and introducing additional checks, as well as aimed at "reducing social burden."

According to Fox News, factors such as health, age, level of English proficiency, financial situation, and the likelihood of needing long-term medical care will be taken into account during the checks.

The list of countries whose citizens will have their immigration visa issuance suspended includes:
