At the World Government Summit, the Prime Minister and Head of the President's Administration of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, met with Mohammed Hamad Al-Mehair, Executive Director of the Emirates Investment Authority.

During this meeting, opportunities for bilateral cooperation were discussed.

Kasymaliev emphasized Kyrgyzstan's interest in establishing contacts with the fund and expressed readiness to provide information about major projects being implemented in the country across various sectors.

“Today, Kyrgyzstan is undergoing a historic transformation, and it is important for us to collaborate with major institutions that have international experience,” he noted.

The geographical location of Kyrgyzstan, situated at the crossroads of China and Central Asia, allows it to be integrated into the Eurasian economic space. “We aim to make our country a hub for production, logistics, and energy flows between China, Central Asia, and the Middle East,” added Kasymaliev.

Within the framework of this cooperation, Kyrgyzstan represents significant investment interest for the Emirates Investment Authority in areas such as transport and logistics infrastructure, energy, mineral resources, telecommunications, digital infrastructure, as well as food security and agribusiness,” he said.

Kasymaliev also reported that Kyrgyzstan's economy has shown stable growth over the past four years, with a forecasted GDP increase of 11% by 2025, which is one of the highest indicators among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. The increase in sovereign credit ratings and growth in tax and customs revenues highlight successful economic management and a reduction in investment risks.

“We are open to forming long-term partnerships and attracting capital for joint investments,” he added.

Additionally, Kasymaliev invited representatives of the Emirates Investment Authority to participate in the Investment Forum, which will take place in Bishkek in April of this year in the format of the “Cooperation Council of Arab Gulf States and Central Asia.”

Mohammed Hamad Al-Mehair, for his part, expressed interest in developing cooperation and readiness for further discussions on specific investment projects and initiatives.
