In Balakchy, an incident occurred at a new mini-football field, resulting in metal gates falling on a 10-year-old boy. This event raised concerns among local residents regarding the safety of the sports facility, as they suggested that the gates might have been improperly installed and pose a danger to children.

According to information from the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, the incident took place on February 1. On February 3, 2026, a resident of Balakchy, Ch.A., posted on social media that a 4th-grade student, while playing on the football field in the village of Tash-Saray, was injured due to the falling gates, which sparked a discussion about potential liability.

In response to this message, on February 3, 2026, the information was registered with the Balakchy Internal Affairs Department for a thorough investigation and objective decision-making.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the victim is a 4th-grade student from Gymnasium No. 1 in Balakchy, born in 2015. On February 1, 2026, around 5:30 PM, while playing with neighborhood children on the mini-football field, he was caught under the falling gates. The child was taken to the Balakchy Territorial Hospital with injuries, where he underwent surgery.



Currently, necessary examinations have been appointed regarding this incident, and investigative actions are ongoing.

According to medical information, the boy is receiving treatment in the surgical department of the Balakchy City Hospital. Doctors reported that he was found to have serious injuries to the abdominal cavity and internal organs, as well as internal bleeding, which required emergency intervention. The patient's condition was stabilized, after which he was transferred from the intensive care unit to the surgical department, where treatment and daily monitoring continue.

It is also noted that the child has a rare blood type — I (Rh-negative). Doctors were able to find the necessary blood for transfusion, and the boy's health parameters have normalized. His condition is currently assessed as moderate.
