We are looking for a candidate with relevant experience who is capable of successfully fulfilling the responsibilities. There have been 1-2 candidates, but their qualifications did not meet our requirements. If the personnel service conducts a competition, we will consider people from the reserves of the civil service. It is preferable that the candidate has experience working in local self-government bodies," he noted.
In August 2025, the head of the rural administration named after D. Sadybayeva was detained by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
As reported by the state committee, on July 22, in the village of Massy in the Nooken district, during a familiarization trip, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the GKNB, Kamchybek Tashiev, held a conversation with the head of the D. Sadybayeva rural administration, A.B.
In response to questions about his possible involvement in corruption schemes in the land sector, A.B. stated that he is "not involved" and is "ready to take responsibility" in case any violations are identified.
According to GKNB data, during checks and operational-investigative activities, numerous facts of corruption committed by the head of the rural administration in his previous role as deputy, and later as the head of the Dostuk rural administration (2019–2024), were revealed. It was established that A.B., while serving as the chairman of the permanent housing commission, sold municipal land plots at undervalued prices to affiliated persons through fictitious auctions.
As part of the criminal case initiated under Article 336 "Corruption," the head of the rural administration was detained and placed in the GKNB pre-trial detention center. His connections with high-ranking officials involved in organizing the identified corruption schemes have also been established, and checks are being conducted regarding them as well.
