The condition of the young man who fell from a hill in a car is now stable. He participated in the alaman ulak competitions held on the shore of the Kempiir-Abad reservoir.

At the moment, the injured individual is receiving medical assistance at the Jalal-Abad Regional Unified Clinical Hospital.

Abdulaziz, the hero of the incident, shared details of what happened in an interview with a Turmush correspondent. “On that day, February 8, like many others, I went to Uzgen to watch the alaman ulak. The roads were congested — it took us about an hour and a half to get from Suzak to the reservoir. Cars were lined up along the highway, and I noticed that many vehicles were going up the hills.

I also decided to drive up to the elevation to watch the competitions. I dropped off my nephews and began to turn the car around to leave. At that moment, the car suddenly started to slide and rolled off the hill. I didn’t have time to react. The car fell from a height of about 200 meters and landed on a parked Hyundai Porter by the road. I feel much better now,” noted Abdulaziz Abukariyev.

The head of the trauma department at the hospital, Almaz Taylanov, provided information about the patient's condition. “The young man, who is 26 years old, was admitted to us in a state of third-degree traumatic shock. He received emergency assistance, which helped save his life. He has been diagnosed with fractures of eight bones: open fractures of both legs, a fracture of the left thigh, a fracture of the left arm, as well as fractures of three ribs on the right side and a concussion. His condition is currently stable,” said the doctor.

Earlier, Turmush reported that during the alaman ulak in Uzgen, a Lexus GX470 car fell from a hill about 200 meters high.

Turmush also mentioned that on February 8 in the Uzgen district, Manas Niyazov, a well-known ulakchy and forward for the "Dostuk" national team in kok-boru, held a celebration for the circumcision of his children and the 75th anniversary of his parents.

As part of the celebration, an alaman ulak was organized, which gathered many guests from neighboring countries. The competitions were held on the shore of the Kempiir-Abad reservoir.

Preliminary estimates suggest that over 20,000 to 30,000 people attended the event.

It is worth noting that during the equestrian sports events, a 27-year-old ulakchy died, and one of the spectators, who came from Suzak, was injured after falling from a hill in his car.

On the Osh-Bishkek highway, inspectors were on duty in increased mode to prevent traffic jams and ensure safety, as the competitions attracted a large number of spectators.

The Niyazov family is known for its outstanding players in "kok boru" and "ulak tartysh," including Manas, Janysh, Bayaman, Kiyaz, and Bayysh. Manas Niyazov was the first to engage in "ulak tartysh" in the family.

Following in the footsteps of his father, who was also an ulakchy, Manas decided to continue the family tradition and engage in this national game. His brothers helped him in this.

The Niyazov family has 5 sons and 2 daughters, and all the brothers actively play ulak tartysh.
