In the Chuy region, in the Jayil district, rescue services are working to find a man who was buried under a snow mass. According to preliminary data, the incident occurred in a high-altitude pasture.

It is reported that on February 12 at around 12:00, an avalanche occurred on the pasture Boroonduu, located near the village of Kyzyl-Oy. A local resident, born in 1967 and known by the initials D.A., was caught under the snow. Along with him, there were 50 sheep and one horse buried in the snow.

The signal about the incident was received by the emergency situations department of the Jayil district from the head of the village of Kyzyl-Oy. Forces from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were involved to organize the search and rescue operations.

Today, at 06:00, 5 more rescuers from the Jumgal district arrived at the scene of the incident. A total of 24 specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations are participating in the search efforts.

Search operations are ongoing, and additional information will be provided as new details emerge.
