According to media reports, sandy islands have emerged in the areas where the water has receded, and some boats have ended up in shallow water and run aground.
Local residents are expressing concern about this situation. Sezer Akcha, who has lived in the area for 15 years, shared his observations: he noted that the last time the sea receded this much was about three years ago.
“Back then, the water level dropped the same distance. Everything was normal until last week. This happened very quickly,” he added.
