According to the agency, video recordings have appeared online showing the asphalting of some internal streets of the village. Local residents express suspicions that this may be related to an attempt to buy votes ahead of the upcoming elections. Complaints have also been received about the poor quality of the laid asphalt.
Local authorities stated that they have no information about who conducted this work and within what timeframe.
The author of the video appeal noted that he had previously contacted law enforcement with a statement regarding this issue; however, according to him, the local police took no action.
According to the data from the Interior Ministry of the Batken region, his video recording was registered in the electronic journal of the Kadamjay District Department of Internal Affairs, and an investigation is currently underway.
