Khadija Kadyrova, an 8th-grade student at the "Oy-Tersken" general education school located in the village of Acha-Kaiyndy in the At-Bashinsky district, is actively engaged not only in her studies but also in learning to play the komuz at the Children's Music School of Arts named after J. Sheralieva.

A Turmush correspondent was able to speak with the young talent.

“The komuz has opened many doors for us and brought significant achievements. Every competition and performance on stage has given me invaluable experience. Together with our team, we often took first places, which greatly boosted my confidence. I realized that to achieve success, it is necessary to practice regularly on the komuz. This art is very close to me, and it brings me peace. In the future, I dream of performing on big stages and continuing to develop our national instrument as a profession to show its beauty to the whole world,” Khadija shares.

She actively participates in various Olympiads and online competitions, which allows her to combine her knowledge with her creative abilities.

But Khadija has another dream:

“I want to become a flight attendant. I like this profession because it requires high responsibility, culture, and discipline. For a flight attendant, neatness and the ability to communicate with people are very important. Since childhood, I have admired flight attendants on airplanes—their uniforms and politeness. Currently, I am fluent in Kyrgyz, Russian, and English, and I am also interested in learning other languages. If I have the opportunity, I plan to enroll in university and do everything possible to fulfill my dream,” she says.

As for the komuz, Khadija emphasized that this instrument became available to her thanks to her parents' support.

“My parents bought me a komuz and provide me with constant support. This instrument is a sacred heritage of our ancestors. My grandfather, Kadir Estebesov, was a famous komuz player, and I want to continue his work by developing national art,” concluded the young talent.
