During a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with labor, health, women's affairs, and social policy, a discussion erupted between deputy Ulukbek Karybek uulu and vice-speaker Meder Aliyev. The discussion of the draft law became a reason for their exchange of opinions.

Karybek uulu asked questions about the content of the document, to which Aliyev responded by urging him to focus on the essence of the draft law.

“In parliament, we should not engage in populism. Leave blogging aside. It is not worth earning 'cheap' points by touching on insignificant aspects of the draft law. If you have questions, you can submit them in writing within 10 days after the first reading according to the regulations of the Jogorku Kenesh. We are ready to work towards a common solution,” Aliyev stated.

In response, Karybek uulu emphasized that despite his previous activity as a blogger, he was elected by the people and has equal rights with other deputies.

“My rights are equal to yours. There is no need to go beyond the bounds of etiquette. I asked questions regarding the justification report and would like you to pay attention to the third point,” the deputy noted.
