Demolition, traffic jams in Osh, dismantled bridge: What issues are raised by the deputies of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan?

Today, March 4, at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh in the "Miscellaneous" section, deputies discussed a number of issues related to the socio-economic situation in the country.

Deputy Dastan Bekeshev expressed concern about the work of the land amnesty commission. He noted that residents of the 172nd and 232nd contours have still not received the necessary documents. Bekeshev also addressed the issue of residential buildings at the addresses 7 April, 139/1 and Suerkulova, 16/1 in Bishkek. Furthermore, he reported on plans to construct a bypass road in the village of Kok-Jar, but there is no information regarding the demolition of houses and possible compensation.

Deputy Zhyldyz Kurmanalieva drew attention to the problems faced by residents of the village of Taran Bazar in the Suzak district, who are demanding compensation due to the construction of a railway. She also noted that cases of theft have increased in the village and called on law enforcement agencies to take action. In addition, she emphasized the need for the construction of a school in Zhany-Achy, for which the cost estimate documentation is ready.

Nurjamal Torobekova, a deputy, highlighted the necessity of building a kindergarten in Kyrgyz-Chek in the Kara-Suu district. She also suggested considering the establishment of a covered football field at the local school.

Altynbek Kudayberdiev reported on issues related to the high level of groundwater in the village of Kyrgyzstan, Kara-Suu district. He called for solutions to the problems of constructing a sewage network and repairing roads. According to him, a new General Plan is planned to be approved in Osh in 2026, and it is important to provide the population with the necessary documents. He also proposed considering the possibility of reducing the water protection zone on the Ak-Buura River from 50 to 20 meters.

Suyunbek Omurzakov noted that one of the main problems in Osh is traffic jams. He emphasized the need to accelerate the construction of a bridge, which is being delayed due to a lack of funds in the local budget, and pointed out the suspension of several infrastructure projects for the same reason. The deputy also advocated for the establishment of a free economic zone in the Osh region.

Dastanbek Jumabekov reported on the dismantling of a bridge on the Suusamyr - Talas - Taraz highway, which was used by residents of the Bakai-Ata and Aitmatov districts for irrigating agricultural land. He expressed the population's concerns about potential water supply problems during the spring fieldwork.

Ismanali Joroev raised the issue of the Karagach grove in Bishkek, pointing out that only about 40 out of 136 hectares are being used, and that the irrigation system is not functioning. He proposed taking measures to develop the grove and consider creating an eco-zone called "Little Venice." He also touched upon the topic of restoring the section of the railway from Sulukt to Leilek.

Gulsharkan Kultaeva voiced the requests of residents of Uch-Korgon in the Jalal-Abad region for the construction of a new school funded by the republican budget, the opening of branches of commercial banks, and a checkpoint "Uch-Korgon" at the border with Uzbekistan.

Deputy Yrysbek Atazhanov pointed out the necessity of ensuring flood protection and constructing a 5-kilometer road in the new building of Arasai in the village of Sai, located near the Bazar-Sai River. He also raised socio-economic issues concerning the villages of Apkan and Bozhoi in the Batken region.
