The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs spoke about measures against the spread of false information
Nurbek Abdiyev, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, announced plans to detain the owners of fake accounts that are involved in spreading slander. This statement was made at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh.
As Abdiyev noted, work is currently underway to identify cases of discrediting both the state and high-ranking officials.
"Recently, a woman was detained who opened two fake accounts for slander and tarnishing the reputation of the state. A criminal case will be initiated against her. We respond to every citizen's appeal," he added.
