On March 21, celebratory events marking this ancient holiday were held at the branch of JSC "KUET" — Batken Electric Network — with special enthusiasm. The event was attended by the company director Nurlan Mamadaliev, as well as representatives of the management and labor collectives of the electric networks of Kyzyl-Kiya, Kadamjai, Batken, Leilek, and Suluktu.
The goal of the holiday was to establish friendly relations among employees, as well as to promote national traditions and understanding of the significance of Nowruz.
The festive program began with welcoming speeches from the leaders, who expressed gratitude to the workers of the energy sector, wishing them health and success in life. As part of the traditional rituals "alas aytu" and "buu day chachuu," participants prayed for peace, prosperity, and abundance.
The cultural part of the event included friendly competitions, in which six teams representing different districts and the Batken Electric Network participated. The teams performed national songs and dances reflecting the diversity of cultures, creating an atmosphere of celebration and joy for the spectators.
Exciting competitions in national games were also organized, including tug-of-war and arm wrestling, which contributed to strengthening the sporting spirit and unity.
As part of the holiday, an exhibition of national dishes took place, where each team presented their culinary masterpieces, showcasing traditional Kyrgyz hospitality and generosity.
At the end of the holiday, the results of the competition were announced, with the winners being:
1. Leilek District Electric Networks — 1st place,
2. Batken Electric Network — 2nd place,
3. Batken District Electric Networks — 3rd place.
The winners were awarded diplomas, valuable prizes, and cash rewards.
This event not only strengthened unity among workers in the energy industry but also contributed to the dissemination of national values, leaving participants with bright memories and positive emotions.
