In Batken, grains resembling gold flow in the river
In the Batken region, on the Khozhoshken River, during floods, one can see tiny shiny particles that locals perceive as gold. The Khozhoshken River originates from the confluence of the Archa-Bashy and Zardaly rivers, which flow down from the mountains to the southwest of Batken. During periods of rising temperatures and water levels in the river, shiny particles, which may be gold, rise to the surface along with the sand.
