The National Bank has changed the rules for regulating microfinance organizations
The changes made affect subparagraph 2 of paragraph 7.8.2, which pertains to the regulation of microcredit companies and microcredit agencies. According to the new provisions, microloans and leasing exceeding the established maximum amount may be granted to a single borrower or a group of related parties in an amount not exceeding 2% of the capital of the microcredit agency (MCA).
