In accordance with the directive of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, cochlear implantation surgeries were successfully performed at the National Hospital with the participation of specialists from the State of Qatar.
According to the agency's information, all procedures were carried out completely free of charge. Seven adult patients from various regions of the country were able to restore their hearing.
The Qatari side provided all the necessary consumables for the surgeries. The doctors of the National Hospital, working alongside Qatari specialists, were able to improve their skills and exchange experiences in the field of cochlear implantation.
