The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan has announced a plan to create a unified system of state laboratories.

On January 23, Health Minister Kanbek Dosmambetov visited one of the leading private laboratories, where he closely examined the organization of diagnostic processes, logistics, quality control mechanisms, and the implementation of digital technologies.

According to him, the current system of state laboratories does not meet modern requirements, which significantly limits the population's access to timely and accurate research. This is especially critical for the early diagnosis of oncological diseases and other pathologies that require immediate detection.

The Minister highlighted the problem of late diagnosis of serious diseases, such as cancer, when patients often seek medical help at stages 3-4 of the disease. In his opinion, this is related to the insufficient effectiveness of the laboratory diagnostics system. "Correct diagnosis is the key to successful treatment. To ensure timely and accurate detection of diseases, it is necessary to create a strong laboratory infrastructure," he emphasized.
