A magnetic storm of level G2 has been registered on the planet, originating from a stable coronal hole on the Sun, as reported by Kazinform.

According to data from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the IKI RAS, moderate geomagnetic disturbances are being observed on Earth, caused by the influence of the stable coronal hole on the Sun, as reported by various space weather centers.

This coronal hole, which has caused the current storm, has existed for more than three months and has previously affected Earth several times due to the 27-day rotation cycle of the Sun.

According to previous forecasts, geomagnetic activity is expected to remain unstable over the next 1-2 days.

The chances of the storm intensifying to level G3 are considered slight, while the probability of reaching levels G4 and above is close to zero.
