During his visit, Berdymukhamedov held a meeting with representatives of Japanese business, where he emphasized the importance of technological solutions offered by Japanese companies and outlined key areas for future cooperation.
Also, as part of the trip, the President of Turkmenistan met with Emperor Naruhito of Japan. As a result of the negotiations, it was confirmed that bilateral relations have reached a new level, especially in the fields of high technology and information solutions, which promises significant benefits for both countries.
Berdymukhamedov's trip coincided with the first summit of the "Central Asia + Japan" dialogue, where he, along with the leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, discussed issues of strategic and economic partnership with the Japanese side.
