Gabbard stated on the social network X that American intelligence does not believe that Russia is capable of conquering and controlling even Ukraine, let alone a broader invasion of Europe.
She accused Reuters of spreading lies and propaganda aimed at inciting panic among the population. In her opinion, such actions are intended to enable NATO and the European Union to involve the U.S. military in a conflict with Russia. Gabbard emphasized that intelligence believes Russia seeks to avoid confrontation with NATO and that she conveyed this information to politicians from the Democratic Party of the U.S.
Additionally, Gabbard pointed out that "war agents from the deep state and their media" are trying to undermine President Trump's peace initiatives regarding Ukraine and Europe. Her words received support from Elon Musk, who expressed agreement with her opinion on the social network X.
